About Bernadette

Bernadette Boyle

Voice Teacher ~ Singer ~ Musician

Bernadette Boyle has been immersed in music since she was young. She started taking violin lessons when she was five, switched to piano lessons when she was six, and still finds joy in playing the piano today. When she was eleven, violin lessons beckoned Bernadette again. She continued to take violin lessons, playing with the Tacoma Youth Symphony for a year, until she started college. At age eleven, Bernadette participated in a children's choir which deepened her love for singing and gave her the courage to join her parish choir when she was thirteen.

God has blessed Bernadette with perfect pitch, and she believes that when God gives a person a gift, they should give it back to God. With this in mind, while in high school, Bernadette directed her parish choir.

In 2020, Bernadette received an associate of music degree in music performance from Tacoma Community College in Tacoma, WA. At this time, she is pursuing a degree in music education from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. In addition, Bernadette completed the first level of the Ward Method training at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and is looking forward to participating in the second level of training.

When Bernadette isn’t studying, she enjoys offering private and group singing lessons to children of all ages and singing at weddings and other events.

Bernadette

"...start building the Church through God’s children, that all may sing, not merely a talented few, for music belongs to all of God’s children."
